The Time Lord Strikes

When you get opportunities, it is best to do with them what you can. Though Robert Williams earned the nickname “Time Lord” after missing his introductory press conference, a flight to Boston and the team’s first practice in 2018, he quickly stepped up his game. He wore this jersey during the 2020 NBA Playoffs bubble in Orlando, which included a strong performance against the defending NBA World Champion Toronto Raptors in the semifinals. Williams then took advantage of injuries to veteran big men Al Horford and Daniel Theis to get more playing time and eventually a big contract before the 2021-22 season. The “Time Lord” found his opportunity!
