Heinsohn and C’s Dominate LA

Tommy Heinsohn showed his defensive intensity against Walt Hazzard of the Los Angeles Lakers during the 1964-65 season, his final campaign as a player. The Celtics finished the season by conquering the Lakers in the 1965 NBA Finals in just five games, including a dominating 129-96 victory in Game 5. That win would stand as the largest margin of victory in a deciding NBA Finals game until 2008, when the Celtics once again defeated the Lakers, 131-92.
