One of the best ways to learn about breaking a huddle is to have the help of a real NBA player. Kendrick Perkins joined a group of Boys and Girls Clubs members participating in Fit to Win, a program to teach kids about healthy eating and active lifestyles. The first event, launched in November 2010, invited 36 kids to join fun activities with Perkins, Avery Bradley and Celtics Strength and Conditioning Coach Bryan Doo. Since 2015, the annual program has extended to four weeks with locations across New England, and more than 1,200 children have participated.
