1976 NBA Title Banner

The banner honoring the 1976 NBA World Championship title-winning Celtics hung proudly in Boston Garden. Boston won the series over the Phoenix Suns behind the effort of NBA Finals MVP Jo Jo White, who averaged 21.7 points and 5.8 assists per game. Celtics fans had to stay patient until 1981 to hang another banner in the rafters – thankfully, it wasn’t a long wait.
