The Modern Celtics Shorts
Date: 1990s to 2010s
The Celtics wore longer shorts for nearly two decades from 1998 to 2014. In the early 1990s, the style of shorts shifted with the arrival of Michael Jordan and the University of Michigan’s “Fab 5.” The inseam of shorts worn by NBA players almost quadrupled from only three to over eleven inches.
