The Intensity of KG

The intensity that Kevin Garnett played with, from practices to warmups to games, was a part of Garnett’s personality. In his first year with the Celtics during their preseason tour of Europe, Head Coach Doc Rivers and Celtics star Ray Allen talked with Toronto Raptors Coach Sam Mitchell, who knew Garnett well, for advice on handling his intensity. Mitchell recalled telling the pair, “Doc, Ray, he’s like this every day. Every day.”
