The Big Three Take a Bow

No one was under any illusions that the Big Three would be around forever. By the 1991-92 season, the team looked back on the era of Larry Bird, Robert Parish and Kevin McHale – and what an era it was. For 13 seasons spanning from 1980 to 1992, the Celtics earned 13 consecutive playoff berths, nine Atlantic Division championships, five Eastern Conference championships and three NBA World Championship titles. It was one of the most storied periods in franchise and NBA history thanks to these guys.
