Celtics patriarch Red Auerbach posed with star players (left to right) John Havlicek, Dave Cowens and Jo Jo White. While Havlicek won eight NBA World Championship titles with the Celtics in the 1960s and 1970s, Cowens and White contributed to Boston’s titles in 1974 and 1976. The three players had something else in common: the Celtics later retired their numbers.
