Signing Off the 1958-59 Celtics

The 1958-59 Celtics took time from their NBA World Championship title-winning season to snap a team photo and sign it. The team was an offensive powerhouse, averaging an NBA-best 116 points per game behind top scorers Bill Sharman and Bob Cousy. A 52-20 regular season record ended with a sweep in the 1959 NBA Finals of the Minneapolis Lakers for the team’s second NBA World Championship title in three years.
