Wally Szczerbiak signed a jersey outfitted with a black shamrock patch to commemorate Red Auerbach, the legendary Celtics head coach and executive who passed away days before the 2006-07 season. Szczerbiak and the Celtics wore these jerseys throughout the campaign, which marked Szczerbiak’s last in Boston as he was shipped in the trade that brought Ray Allen to Beantown.
