Remembering Red Auerbach

Created following Red Auerbach’s death, Adidas produced only 938 pairs of shoes to commemorate the total number of Auerbach’s regular-season victories in his coaching career. This pair, No. 69, recognized Auerbach’s time coaching the Washington Capitols when his team defeated the Providence Steamrollers, 86-64, on February 7, 1948.
