Remembering K.C.

The Celtics wore commemorative shirts on Christmas Day 2020 just hours after the team received word that 12-time NBA World Champion K.C. Jones had passed away. Celtics President of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge, who played for Jones in the 1980s, said, “K.C. was a mentor to me as a young player. [He was] a calm and peaceful man with great leadership skills as a coach and someone I considered a great friend.”
