Paul Pierce’s Cover Shoot

Paul Pierce graced the cover of the team’s Parquet magazine following his victory in the 3-Point Contest during the 2010 NBA All-Star Weekend. Pierce was the first Celtics player to win the contest in over two decades since Larry Bird did so in 1988. Pierce’s victory came in Dallas, the same location as Bird’s first title in 1986. “Well,” Pierce said, “they say history always repeats itself.”
