Lucky Says: Rock the Garden!

Celtics fans have made a huge difference in the team’s success over the years. Opponents were justifiably terrified to try and win playoff games on Causeway Street. Here, Lucky the Leprechaun rallied the crowd before the sixth and decisive game in the 2010 Eastern Conference Finals against the Orlando Magic. Backed by a roaring crowd, the Celtics ended up winning over the Magic, 96-84, to advance to the NBA Finals. Said Coach Doc Rivers later, “It’s an amazing fan base…This is such a neat place. People don’t get Boston. They don’t understand. It is a special, different place.”
