KG is Different

Boston’s defeat to the New York Knicks in the 2013 NBA Playoffs marked the end of Garnett’s career as a member of the Celtics. Following that final game, Head Coach Doc Rivers said of Garnett, “He’s different. Different than any star I’ve ever been around. You can’t take him for granted, and we never ever have.” The future Hall-of-Famer helped leave a storied chapter in franchise history during his time in the Green and White.
