From the Court to the Course

Following his basketball career, Bob Cousy found a new passion: golf. One biographer wrote, “He attacked [golf] as he had once attacked basketball.” In his retirement, Cousy spent winters in Florida where he played golf with fellow Celtics hero John Havlicek. Until poor health prevented him from continuing to play, Cousy frequently played 36 holes per day.
