Big Three Memories

Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce faced off against Ray Allen, their former teammate and member of the Big Three, on January 27, 2013. The trio had previously helped lead the Celtics to the franchise’s 17th NBA World Championship title in 2008. In Allen’s first season away from Boston, Garnett led the Celtics with 24 points and 11 rebounds as he and Pierce got the better of the Miami Heat and their old teammate in double-overtime, 100-98.
